lblanchardMy florist friends Bill Schaffer and Kris Kratt have enlisted floral designers from the overwhelming majority of our 50 states to design stars of natural material, which will then hang from a 15-foot wire-and-floral "umbrella" representing the Constitution.
I contributed a star, despite not being a floral designer, and I'm one of the crew photographing the set-up tomorrow.
Which starts at 5:30 a.m., *groan.* That makes for a very early morning for me. I think I'll just get up if I wake up to use the bathroom any time after 3:00 a.m. I have to be on my bike at 5:00, and I will surely be undercaffeinated for this caper. Bill has promised copious quantities of coffee and he better not be lying.
