A quick note to myself (plants)

Daylily seeds sprout when they feel like it. Two more popped up today, making a total of four. Okay, seeds, you can stop now.

The first 'gervase' is fading. I may try pollinating the fading flowers with some from its own offspring -- also from another mongrel that's blooming right now. I've also saved 'gervase' pollen to try on one of its offspring and also from that mongrel. I don't want to go too crazy, though.

There was some other plant thing I wanted to remember, but I can't. Oh, well, it will come to me.

That's all I gots right now. Except for Flower Show pictures, of course. Here -- have one. And click through to another hundred or so. Now I only have nine days' worth of photos to go.

It looks like it was a really spectacular show this year from the photos I've seen. And after the equally spectacular blooms you had this year, I can see why you'd want to propagate more of your little darlings!
