My brains are still in Virginia

lblanchardWe got back on Saturday but I'm not totally back, if you get my drift.

Trip highlight: we took the geezer bus to almost the top of Sharp Top, our favorite mountain, and then hiked the final 1,500 feet (which included about 150 feet of vertical rise). The thunder came closer and closer while we were on the summit, and we got hit by the wall of water on the way down. I was so wet I was able to wring out my shirt, my tank top, and my underwear.
It was great. I wish we hadn't had to get back down in time to meet the return bus. I could have splashed about for much longer.

I see everyone has been writing. Tomorrow I hope to do some reading.
