Dodo has retired from competition. She has a display of some of her choicest plants, but they're not in competition. We don't know if she'll display in future years.
The Nopalxochia is not among the plants on display. I got up the nerve to go up to her and ask if she would be showing it. She was startled, but gracious, and said that she didn't think it was going to bloom in time this year. So much for my having one last chance to overcome the temptation to commit plant larceny.
