I finished my to-do list today. All my prep is done. Now to wait for the storm to hit (it's an eerie calm and a bit cooler) and try to work tomorrow as long as there's power.

This is one of the very few times that I don't mind that our neighborhood's tree cover is pretty spotty. Fewer chances of trees or tree branches pulling down power cables.

I posted on FB that Roy was in Omaha and one of a pair of neighbors sent me a message -- I should holler if I run into mechanical trouble and need a big strong man. That's comforting.

And so to bed...
