I am such a rainmaker!

lblanchardI went Down the Lakes and Round the Lakes five times this morning, leaving the house a smidge before 8:00. Go me. (14.15 miles!) The goal here is to get up, get the bike ride, get the breakfast and shower, and be ready for work by 9:00 in case I actually become 100% billable again.
I *would* have been home by about 9:20 except that I got smacked by a Wall of Water -- a thunderstorm that I hadn't realized was right on top of me. Fortunately, I was at the biggest intersection of my ride home, one that is not only a six-way intersection but has several elevated expressway/interstate lanes over it. So I had shelter. And this was a shorter storm.
So....any time I want rain, I guess I just have to hop on my bike!
