If it made the Boom Box crowd fidget and plug their ears then that's utterly splendid.

And they're far more formally dressed than most people you see busking in big cities.

I don't think they entered the subway with intent to busk. According to the little write-up, they were on their way back from some festival and were persuaded to perform. I understood from the video that the persuader felt obligated to then pass the hat.

I was a bit confused as to why the hat passer was NOT dressed appropriately for scottish highland things. It certainly looked like they were getting some beer money there though.
