Hippeastrum papilio cross-breeding

My friend from Indiana sent me pollen from 'Emerald' and I've just pollinated the second 'papilio' bloom. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this one takes. Of course, I'd be happy if the self-pollination takes, too, possibly evenmore so because I just love the 'papilio' to pieces. In fact, I think I like it better than any of the hybrids I've seen.

(We'll see how I feel about that when I see all the glorious hybrids at the Flower Show.)
