The state of the to-do list
Oct. 9th, 2010 12:19 pmAll the snowflakes are starched and blocked.
All of the coleus cuttings are potted up.
A batch of possibly mite-contaminated potting soil is roasting in a slow oven.
The hanging planter of Tradescantia pallida and Ipomomea batata has been zapped with Orthenex (yes, I know, I'm bad and the ghost of Bob Rodale will haunt me) -- ditto for a potted begonia I want to bring in.
One rooted sage cutting is showing signs of vigor. Ditto for two variegated basil cuttings.
Some of the hippeastrums that I'm trying to get to go dormant are starting to turn yellow.
I have eradicated one of the more intractable secondary piles of paper in my office, and reduced the volume of a second. There were four in total, and I think I may be able to kill them all by the middle of next week.
One set of Merry Christmas fingerless gloves is almost done.
ADDED: Took cuttings of that scented pelargonium I keep saying I'm not going to overwinter. Again.
Found three pieces of fallen Nopalxochia and brought them upstairs to stick in vermiculate, what the heck.
Dumped a plant I am definitely *not* going to overwinter so that I can move a spider plant to a better hanging planter.
And I'm just about caught up with work.
How cool is that? It's also a nice day for a ride Down the Lakes, and the supermarket closest to the park has boneless pork loin for $1.49/lb, just in time for me to replenish my stocks.
How's your weekend shaping up?
