Trouble is: he weighs 16 pounds and I only have four square feet of "open desk space" (actually an old-fashioned typewriter stand that I bought for a buck in the 80s) to use for papers on my current project. The rest -- a separate table -- is covered with monitor, phone, copy stand, printer, CPU, pencil cups, etc.
In other news, I just cleaned out another small nest of papers. Order is creeping in!
