Missed the inauguration
Jan. 20th, 2009 01:34 pmI meant to watch the actual inauguration (as opposed to all the rest of it) online today.
But my time-sense is out of whack, and while Barack Hussein Obama was taking the oath of office I was scrubbing the kitchen floor.
Well, like many I'll be praying for him, praying for his continued safety and strength, and praying that he makes wise decisions that consider the 46% as well as the 52%. That's a tepid comment compared to those of a number of folks on my f-list, but it's about the best I can do, other than to say I largely concur with Instapundit:

(I'm a little older than Instapundit. Too young to have marched on Selma but old enough to embrace the rightness of the Civil Rights movement of the 60s and suffer mildly for it in my mildly bigoted family and community.)
