Gratuitous photo: I rehomed the hated lace-weight yarn yesterday and now my stash contains only remnants. Time to shop!

Leaving this post public for a bit.

A friend-of-friends user, sunshine_two, has subscribed to my journal and I have subscribed back. Looks like we can still see each others’ public posts but that’s it. Happy to change to friends on a trial basis, but I haven’t figured out how to get beyond the mutual subscription. Maybe on the desktop? Maybe it’s up to sunshine_two ?

I've known B for years. Contact her and suggest you just friend each other instead of subscribe. I don't know how to unsubscribe offhand....but yes,it's all much easier on the desktop. The phone app is awful for any kind of detail work.

With the clue from kazzy_cee, I was able to add her as a friend from my iPad.

On the desktop, if you look at the drop downs you can change it to 'friend', rather than subscription (you don't have to remove the subscription it will do that automatically).

Aha! I didn’t notice the drop-down. I’ve added her as a friend, and perhaps she’ll friend me back now.

Click on the dropdown menu next to 'You are subscribed', and then the 'Add to Friends' option...
