As the novocaine continues to wear off the pain is getting stronger. But perhaps it will die down quickly.
I'm hoping the synthetic codeine in the Vicodin kicks in soon, because aceto- acito- oh crap the active ingredient in Tylenol has never done diddly for me. I may take ibuprofen in a minute out of desperation.
