Apropos a conversation about redundant C of E churches which our hypothetical Father Brown could have snagged to become RC, here are two photos I found of a currently-on-offer redundant church, St. Giles, Darlton:





(I stalked the village on Google and Wikipedia. It's a tiny place, population 104 -- with infinite money it would be nice to contemplate an adaptive reuse as a residence/workshop.)
