His MRI isn't being scheduled quite as briskly as his visit to the doctor and CAT scan yesterday. He gets is on Thursday. I imagine that once I sleep on this I'll be feeling better.
I went and photographed the last bouquet of the day at Macy's today. I wasn't particularly overwhelmed with it. The actual floral part is lovely, but the big paper flowers don't do it for me. I do think the use of big Monstera leaves as poppy leaves is clever.
There were lots of lovely hippeastrum, though, so that was nice.
And the pairing of the hippeastrum with the gloriosas was especially lovely...
...as was the huge ranunculus.
Back here chez Blanchard I'm being stunk out of my office. My potting soil has to be sterilized because it came with added fungus gnats, grrrrr, and it really reeks when you put soil in a 350 oven and bake it for a couple hours.
