While I was moaning and beating my chest about taxes, City Council quietly passed a ten year gentrification relief bill, which -- if signed by our Mayor -- should drop the taxes on this property by about 2/3 from what they would otherwise be. Now, if we are successful in appealing the taxes on the back house, we may be have bought some time.
