Happy birthday to Richard III, would would be celebrating his 558th birthday today if he were alive.
Philadephia got close to six inches of rain Thursday and Friday. The downpour did in my big alabama sunset coleus, which is okay because by now it has crowded out my chair in the back yard. I've already taken cuttings and, besides, there are a couple more growing here and there out back.
Here's a look at some of the flooding along the Schuylkill. I walked in what I thought was wet grass to get this shot, only to find my foot trapped in a mess of alluvial mud, eeeuw.
