Back from the Blue Ridge

Short hikes were taken. Also lots of photos. No bears were seen, but bear tracks, bear scat, and bear depredations on tree trunks were. Thomas Jefferson's country house is grand. The Bedford house's backyard slope is even worse than Roy described.

Many insect bites were acquired and first noticed yesterday. I sure hope they aren't bedbug bites...
