Paul McCartney is a jerk

He can't leave the award ceremony without a parting shot at Bush:

"And after eight years of the previous administration, it's great to have a president who knows what a library is."

Of course he isn't even smart enough to play a properly tuned guitar because he's left-handed (something I always considered an annoying affectation on his part, as perhaps you may notice). How could he be expected to know that George W. Bush is married to a librarian -- and that literacy and support of libraries was a priority of the Bush administration?

A cheap shot for cheap laughs. My grudging admiration for his musical skills just dropped a whole lot.
