Hematoma

Over the weekend I noticed spreading discoloration over my shin, a purple stain around the ankle that has now become a deep purple spot at the base of my foot, pain at the site of original injury. Not much in the way of swelling, the the rest of the signs of a hematoma are there. Time to elevate the leg again, I guess...

Here is the plant grown from the cuttings clindau brought me when she came to see the Flower Show in March 2008. This is its first bloom -- I expect it to show even more abundant bloom next year.
