Farewell, annoying mint green edging
Nov. 28th, 2009 05:23 pmI had whined earlier that an errant green-and-white teatowel had shed its dye in the wash, leaving the edging for one of my Thanksgiving table linens an annoying mint-green. It also turned an ecru crocheted doily a ghastly gray.
I am happy to report that a short time spent in water with bleach added has returned both bits of crocheting to their original colors. Clearly, Coats & Clarks Knit-Cro-Sheen picks up dye really readily, but sheds it just as easily.
