Nov. 6th, 2009 05:07 pmAt 5:08 the sun has almost set -- it is reflected on the side of one building, but the sky is largely dark. It is getting chillier, too. My Minnesota friends will snicker when I say the temperatures are down to the low 40s and will come close to a first frost tonight. What a wimp, they will say -- up here we call that midsummer! But I imagine this will be the end for a number of coleus.
The transit strike is now in its fourth day, and many folks are adapting. I was interviewed by a reporter, who took and put on line a remarkably unflattering photo of me in full battle gear as I headed off to a meeting:
