Continuing the Swayze retrospective...

I never saw North and South, the miniseries in which Swayze plays a Confederate officer. Happily the Union League Library has the DVD set, and I was able to call and place a hold on it.

If it's as good as some folks have said, I may order it.

In a related vein, I listened to some Swayze interviews last night and was surprised at how Texan he sounds when he's not acting. It always catches me up when actors' "real accents" don't match those of their best known roles.
