Not a chocolate cake

Although it looks a bit like a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting topped with chocolate sprinkles, it's actually a container of potting medium, topped with 3/8" of builders' sand and sown with 64 amaryllis / hippeastrum seeds from my cross-breeding experiment of March or April.

I still have about a dozen seeds left, in case anyone wants to give them a home. Otherwise, I'll probably fling them out back to see what happens.
