Still, it's not a bad idea to be prepared in any case, so I bought myself some hand sanitizer and masks and have squirreled them away in my Doomsday Box along with the tabletop Butane stove and the hand-cranked radio-and-cellphone-charger.

Hee. I am a registered Democrat. Specter, beware. Lots of us switched parties last year to vote for Hillary in the primaries because Obama scared the bejeebers out of us. Not because we wanted to vote for Obama, who scares the bejeebers out of us. We're still here.
