Philadelphia: A Tale of Two Protests
Apr. 2nd, 2009 09:44 amIn late February, about 150 citizens showed up for one of those Tea Party protests on Independence Mall. Roy and I stopped by to see it and to participate a bit. It was not mentioned in the papers or on television, but I did snap a photo early on (more people came later) before leaving for The Flower Show:

Yesterday, two dozen ACORN-organized supporters protested the tax abatement I wrote about yesterday. It got prominent coverage in the daily paper, complete with photographs:

I guess the tea-party folks don't know how to bring out the media.
