This is especially for irismoonlight:

Almost three years ago you sent me cuttings of Nopalxochia phyllanthoides from a friend's plant. Last summer I had high hopes for some bulges on the leaves, but they turned out to be new stems.

This, I think, is a flower bud. And just in time for the Flower Show! -- although my plant isn't show-quality and may never be. But I sure am happy.

Flower Show Interview -- Jamie Rothstein
