I thought of you two pelar fanciers when I saw this pelarzilla at the Flower Show. As pelars go, I believe it's fairly ordinary, but I've never seen a pelar bush before...

The zonals can reach huge dimensions given the right conditions. I had one monster zonal pelar bush in the garden, planted right in the earth that grew to about 3 feet tall and kept coming back for about 10 years until it finally succumbed to old age. I can't read the name on the card of the one you show here but I like that colour!

All it said was pelargonium x domesticum. I just added a close-up of one of the flowers to the original post. It looked gloriously ordinary to me.

Yes, quite common but that orangey colour is one of my favourites.
