Two deaths on my newsfeed today

This morning I learned that an LJ friend's father-in-law died. I also learned via Facebook that the daughter of a dear friend (who herself passed away two years ago) died last night. I believe some quiet time for reflection is called for today.

It could be worse. I don't have any actual family dying or ill at the moment. I have my work and my health and my husband ditto. But thanks.

Some times we get hit with reality and...life...more than we're expecting. I'm sorry.

This isn't my month. A pity, because garden-wise it's one of the best of the year. I think that once I've cycled through a full year without my sister I'll be better able to cope. Passing six months has helped, but I'm a little short on resilience still.
