Yep, exactly. This one's just rectangles, and as long as the edges fit together, you should be good to go.

I'd recommend some kind of non-stretchy yarn - bamboo would probably work, or a bamboo-cotton blend. The pretty stitch pattern would get kind of lost in an elastic yarn, and the drapeyness is nice.

For bargain prices on good yarn, try http:/knitpicks.com or http://elann.com. The former has its own line (check out CotLin, a cotton-linen blend). The latter has house-brand yarns as well as discontinued designer yarns including Takhi Bali, a bamboo ribbon, Bamboo Fusion and Coto Compagne. It's always worth hitting the "bargains" button on the Elann home page, too.
