Hippeastrum experiment
I'm looking at what's left of the flower on the left and thinking that compared to the others it's quite shriveled. Does that mean that I have succeeded in fertilizing all the others? And will I once again have a high success rate with germination? God, I hope not!
But if I get a few seedlings, perhaps this time the plants will have Dad's robust size and Mom's intricate veining. That would be nice.
I cleaned a lot of birdseed hulls and dead leaves/stems out of the back courtyard, as I promised myself I would. Perhaps I'll start me some Supersonics this evening, if I can find the seeds. Also some basil.
