Food for the mind

Amazon brought me two treats today: my very own copy of the Benjamin Bagby Beowulf, and my friend Sharon Kay Penman's newest novel, Lionheart. So I'm set.

The Philadelphia Orchestra is doing a free concert down at the Navy Yard this evening, a fabulous collection of old warhorses. I don't want to go by myself and Roy doesn't think he wants to go. Sigh...

If clindau were here, we could ride bikes down there together, assuming she wasn't doing the lighting.
