I just started some rudbeckia seeds. I hope they bloom this year.

Yesterday I noted buds all over the wisteria.

We are noticing that the leaves on the red maple are thicker -- it must like being in the ground (what a surprise).

I'm ordering a new refrigerator today for delivery Tuesday.

Not mine, specifically, but the DOJ feels it should be able to demand that Yahoo! make all email from targeted users available without a warrant. I thought that electing Mr. Obama was supposed to end this sort of efforts.

The rat is back

Never did a poll before, but I think you'll be able to check off more than one.

Roy bought some stuff at the hardware store the other day, stuffed it down the rat hole and filled it in again. Today while we were eating lunch out back, I noticed The Scamp staring intently at the corner again. Sure enough, the rat hole is back. For the immediate moment, I'm content to let The Scamp keep an eye on things. And it's possible that Mr. Rat has been living in our backyard all winter, feasting on sunflower, millet, and so on. But I don't want Rat Dynasty under our hostas.
