Then I had lunch, and then I worked in the business center, and then I took 15 leader of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (that would be The DAR), including the President General, on a tour of the League House. The Union tenor of the place made some of the southern reps squirm a bit, so I imagine they may also have been members of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

I'm such a ham....I loved every minute of it!

CivilWarPhilly -- education resources

I whined about having a bad case of Idonwanna earlier today, but I recovered enough to create some decidedly Web 1.0 pages for the Civil War Philly web site:

http://www.civilwarphilly.net/education.html
http://www.civilwarphilly.net/research.html
http://www.civilwarphilly.net/johnbrown/

All done the old-fashioned way, with static html and table layouts. I don't have it in me to learn any new tricks right now.
