Behind the foodie curve

So over the weekend I discovered this asian supermarket in the neighborhood and thought perhaps I should bone up on Thai cuisine.

Today I open my morning paper and read that "Peruvian is the new Thai."

Not so fast. I haven't hardly eaten any of the old Thai yet.
